I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specializing in diagnosis and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and experiences of trauma. I believe strongly in translating evidence/science-based mental health care to patients and that through collaboration optimal treatment plans can be created. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and limited therapy for patients living in Oregon and New Mexico.
I believe a person is more than their mental illness and strive to understand how each person exists within their environment and relationships. Each of us is a collection of stories that come from our past, our experiences, and our loved ones—at times, without our permission. Ultimately, we are the story we tell ourselves and I hope to work with people as they find the story that helps them achieve well-being and meaning.
I have been in practice since 2013, after earning a Master’s in Nursing from Oregon Health and Science University. In 2020, I earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from New Mexico State University. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where I majored in Human Biology and minored in Feminist Studies.
